Claim to fame: His most famous role was as the goofy Gilligan on the hit sitcom Gilligan's Island which ran for 3 seasons starting in 1964.
Where are they now? Did some other television shows and worked on Broadway. He lives in West Virginia with his current wife and son. He has been married 3 times previously and has 5 children all told, including visual effects and set builder Patrick Denver.
Sept 6, 2005 Bob Denver dies at age 70 in North Carolina. He had undergone heart bypass surgery earlier this year.

John Lennon's roomate which led to him becoming the original Beatles bassist. He apparently even coined the band's name as a take-off on Buddy Holly's Crickets.

He was the only boy who could have ever played Charlie Buckett in the 1971 hit film Willy Wonka and the Chocolate factory However this was his one and only venture into acting.
