Edie Brickell
Claim to fame: Singer of Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians who's debut album Shooting Rubberbands at the Stars in 1988 yielded the hit What I Am.

Where are they now? The sophmore jynx kicked in, and the follow-up album Ghost of a Dog did not do very well. At that point she left the music business to raise three kids, now that she was married to Paul Simon, whom she met whilst performing What I Am on Saturday Night Live

In late 2003 she released her first album in 20 years, Volcano, produced by Charlie Sexton
