John Wesley Shipp
Claim to fame: Shipp came to the attention of television viewers wearing the red leotard that left little to the imagination in the series The Flash. Although he probably best known for his Emmy-winning stint on the NBC soap opera As the World Turns, it was his movie-quality performance as the psychotic stalker Carter Jones on All My Children that he will his soap opera career will probably be best remembered for.
John Wesley Shipp
Where are they now? After leaving the daytime soap world, Shipp settled comfortably into the nighttime soap world, first with his appearance on the NBC series Sisters and then on the thirty something-actors playing high school kids drama Dawson’s Creek. He also appears in the films Neverending Story II and Soft Deceit. In addition, his talent is as a grasshopper among the ants of his co-stars in the forgettable films Road Rage and Second To Die.
