Bio: Born John N. Swegan on August 4, 1957 in Youngstown, OH, I was the fifth child out of what would end up being 6 kids. With that kind of competition, my choices were to beat up my older siblings (not likely) or become a master at BS and humor. I had some good teachers for that. On Christmas Eve, 1977, I married my first wife, and she's still stuck with me. We have 3 adult children and 9 grandchildren. From 1982 - 1996, I performed stand up comedy on an infrequent basis. It was in late '94 that my true calling came about with the writing of the tome: The Books Of SPAM. During the late 90's, I got involved with captioning unusual pictures. I called the series PUNography, and they are featured on my website. I also started some graphic animations about that time, but really didn't get involved until I met master animator Dajimo in a usenet newsgroup. I've since become something of a celebrity on doing those, actually having siblings email me some of them without realizing I was the animator. In 2006, I discovered a couple video making programs on my computer, and chose to give them a try. I've posted videos on YouTube and in Yahoo Videos, as well as embedded them on my website. Most of the videos are extensions of the animated GIFs I did. I currently reside in Elkhart, IN with my bride of 3 decades. Damn, I don't know how she can put up with me and my ego.
